_____________________________________________________________________________________________March 6-7, 2010 San Francisco, CA The Great San Francisco Crystal FairKing Tut will not be at the Crystal Fair, but he
should be!
One of the many fascinating things about the ancient
boy king is that when his coffin was opened he was found to be wearing a
bejeweled breastplate whose center contained a scarab made out of Libyan
Desert Glass. Think of that. Egyptians were making sophisticated jewelry
thousands of years ago out of this rare and beautiful
material.
On March 6-7 at the San Francisco Crystal Fair,
Christopher Emmer (also known as Excalibur) will be featuring and selling
a large selection of that same Libyan Desert Glass. This is your chance to
come into contact with this most unusual and transformative glass, so
valued by the ancient Egyptians. He will also be selling very rare
Prophecy Stones and Andaran Glass.
Libyan Desert Glass was formed when a meteorite
landed in the Egyptian desert some 28 million years ago leaving a pale
yellow to green impact glass over a huge area. Many esoteric schools,
recognizing its unique metaphysical properties, now call it the
“rock of the god”, Gold Tektite or Krybryone.
Many other extraordinary jewelers, mineral
collectors and vendors will also be displaying their wares at the Crystal
Fair. Everything on display is unique and beautiful and most of it
is quite affordable.
King Tut won't know what he’s missing, but it’d be
great if you could be there.
